Ok the gms are working on the problem it looks like a router went Boom and they are dealing with it as fast as they can obviously this is a weekend and out of hours so bear with them while they fix it.

I would recomend ensuring your loved ones that you are still alive and feeding the goldfish during this outage.

Btw i dont know anything other than you guys that they are dealing with the problem and we have to wait.

i afraid classic servers gonna kill all euro english servers , like they killed most crowded US servers , so they had to cluster em . we have like 2000+ ppl on our cluster at prime time . i afraid to make rvr in a 900-1000ish total pop in a server or cluster after classic server comes .

Pop halves in /gu and /as and if i have nt missed anything newly come u cannot recruit ppl from other server to u r guild or their guilds to u r /as in cluster .

Heh i hope classic does not effect us in that way :)

<sigh> all they have to do was nerfing ToA ....

Classic is just the name given to the non-toa server. "Classic" server will still have NF, NF RA's and with darkspire still accessible stat overcaps will still be here. Basically your new ToA will be darkspire. However Darkspire is a little more forgiving than toa. It's an instanced dungeon so waiting for things to pop wont happen.

I personally would like to see a real "Old Skool" server. Just DAOC Classic. NO Shorouded Isles, NO TOA, NO Cata's and NO NF. Just the original lands, Old frontiers and everyone competing with Epic and 1 time drops, quest pieces. This was when the game was most fun for me. I used to love running around Emain with my then 40-something cave shammy, dotting everything I could and running away :twisted:

This is my vision of a "classic" server. anything else is just fruad imo!

I mean in a normal buffbotted environment they kick ass in quite a few situations. Wont they just rip through several opponents at a time on a 'classic' server?
