I haven't tested this myself but I've heard reports that some people do not get the activation email.
Please check your spam folder.. Currently I see three forum accounts that look legit, but are not activated. They are all hotmail users.
If you do not get the activation email and cannot find it in your spam folder (I'm just guessing hotmail has one) .. please contact the person ingame that invited you so he or she can get in touch with me or someone else that can fix it.
edit: this should now be fixed.. please report any problems to me

I will post about this too.
As for me, I have spam filter set up on my regular email and TDA notification emails end up in there everytime.
Its not one I can configure, so I get the report the next day.
So this is not limited to just hotmail. ;D
For Ref: My email is with hosting company www.oneandone.co.uk and they control filter rules.

tested something... made a small change.. did you get an email now, mamb?
-
Just checked my email, that one was ready in my inbox. ;D
-
ok, we can try it like this then.
-
looks like that did the trick.. been meaning to test it - but hotmail ... meh :)

Does your mail server have a reverse DNS entry? know some others that had issues sending mails from their home server to a hotmail account, and we discovered that hotmail have started blocking mails where there is no valid reverse DNS for the originating server, as that often equates to a whored dynamic ADSL address running a spambot. Quite a few mail services have started doing this recently, actually.
This will also affect the forgot my pswd system also.

it's sent from mimer.. what I changed was switching to SMTP rather than using some PHP mail thingy sent directly from the forum.
so now the forum is sending emails through smtp.mimer.no
