Hi guys!
I don't know if anyone remembers me from FoM on Excalibur, from the very start even. I played for several years before I left Midgard for good... My account is still active but through my dear friend Oxymoron who has been the keeper of Grobo the awesome skald for the last years.
Well, I'm back for more Mythic-love in W.A.R.! Darkness is good... ;)

Hey Grobo :)

Hey Urme, still going strong? :)
It has been ages but I'm really looking forward to playing WAR and enjoying some good RvR again. Since DAoC, I've never had as much fun in any other MMORPG since then. WoW feels bland, EQ 2 is too hardcore, LOTRO has great PvE imo but lacks real PvP, AoC had a few great idéas but lacks content and isn't very fun in the long run...
Here's hoping that WAR is the game that will finally match the greatness of DAoC! Darkness is good!

Aye, still going strong :) Tried AoC 2 months, but gave up when I hit 80, pure boredom.. haven't played anything else since WoW back in 2007 except WAR beta ofc :)

Yeah, AoC was kind of a let-down, guess it will grow in time.
That's actually something I'm a bit worried about for WAR... Not enough content at start, a buggy release or something like that. Not so much the potential players since their fan-base is huge but a so-so release could really mess things up. Several MMOs have been put to sleep after release the last couple of years. WoW has a firm grip on most of the players (at least here in the west) and you really need to present a great title from start to even be considered as a contender. A great fan-base is a start, a great game is key.
LotR-Online had a great start, had a great fan-base, but lacked a bit in content. They are doing an amazing job of keeping the players busy with new content so I regard LotRO as the only real contender to WoW right now. Warhammer have to battle both of them to survive. And who knows, maybe AoC will start to shine soon as well.
He who lives shall see!
