If anyone consider starting rift or changing account, ill sell you mine for the price i payed for the game at release.
I have 1rogue 1warrior 2clerics all lvl 50 and raid rdy .. Rogue is HK rdy for tanking and DPS.
Warrior and rogue are PvP rank 4.

Enjoy life! ;D
I haven't logged in Rift for a few weeks. Might check out new Rogue stuff. But overall, it just won't cut it. So no big loss not playing (much).

sometimes i m wondering what was so good in DAoC that hooked me up so long... eventho i loved the people it was not the only reason i stayed... grinding up RRslowly but steadyly to aquire ubber power skills.... yea it might unballance the game between high RR and low RR but isn t it the reward for being a geek ? with every new expention came new fun a whole continent to discover and to roam...
Rift is nothing like that since pvp isn t free roaming, with epic battles 100 vs 100 vs 100, new dongeons and new challanges are coming every 3 month but is it really new contents ? the new epic stuff doesn t bring that much, i want something to fight for !!

The biggest difference is the focus of the game. DaoC is based around Pvp in the endgame. The keeps, the realm ranks and the fun is mostly in the pvp. There is pve, but that is to gear up and get better for pvp.
In Rift, the two are split in two. There is a lot of new content for endgame pve. But the pvp doesn't really scale, grow or get better. The difference between low ranks and high ranks was huge. Now its not a big deal anymore. And aside from a few lucky shots you cannot influence the outcome of pvp enough as a player or group. That and having at least one OP class all the time kinda makes it feel pointless.
