Title: Happy Birthday DAoC
Post by: Hanza on 11 October, 2011, 08:22:53 AM
 Today DAoC has 10 years...

I would like to take the chance to  celebrate this since in 10 years (9 of DAoC for me :/) i have had a shit load of fun in this game, and i have also met great people. most of them are around here still...

TDA has been a great bunch of crazy stupid and funny idiots that i loved to tagged along with. crazy moments, nights of play, very few disagreements or fights... a few sad moments has well. some of their best members will not be forgoten.

Dotty JP, we still have you in our hearts.

thanks everyone for thos great moments, i had a blast in my gamers life in the last 10 years and it is thanks to DAoC and TDA

I love you guys.

Oi!

Thank you as well!

The acquaintances I've made with TDA have been richening in many ways - from good friends to annoying twats, but the larger part fall into the positive categories.

I remember JP and Dotrella fondly, and I miss the hours we spent together in frontiers and dungeons and anywhere between.

It feels good to know that I am still in touch with some of you oldies, though I wish I was in touch with a few more, and that I was actually still enjoying a good game with most of you! (Still enjoying some of those decent games with a few of you semi-regularly).

I don't belong to this section of TDA since I joined after, but I also played DAoC and remeber it fondly - and yes Hanza I also love you ^^

TDA!

-Tenz out!

I love everyone ...except Tenz...he molested me when I was in his house  :'(

Being part of the TDA has enriched my life and been a part of my life for a long time and to be honest I won't have it any other way.

<wonders what the Germans are doing to our little Hanza>  ;D

Indeed it feels like a lifetime. And a good one at that! Lot's of ups, and just a few downs made it a great run so far. Hopefully soon we can run as TDA again in some new killing fields of joy!  :D It is probably the main reason to try DaoC again and again. To have the joy as we had it before!

And indeed, what are you doing here Tenz! ;P Did you find a new game yet? Did anyone for that matter? I have a week off next week, so should step into something new! (since the weather will suck)

Same as Hanza.

Been a great run, and i still remember DAOC fondly and find my self comparing every single game with the good old days of DAOC.

Have had a lot of fun with u lot and miss the good old days, bashing some hib and alb sculls.

JP and Dot will always be missed.

In the end i hope we all can start with GW2 together and enjoy that game as much as we enjoyed DAOC together.

Happy B-Day from me, too.

I'll always remember the Hibernian Devils and Cine Steelstring, who invited me to come over to the english servers... DAoC would have been a short and probably disappointing experience for me with all the silly germans around ( I am allowed to say this ). Then there were The Wild Hunt guys, my first lvl50, the crazy ToA stuff and so on. All this on the Hib side of life.

The Fallen Legion with Sanitary the TowelTwoll which fell apart way too early. At this time Fend already roamed the lands with the "Fenderon leads - Brogi follows" combo. These were the days when I joined TDA on Midgard.

With The Muppets on the german servers we played in Albion.

Last action: some toons in BG1. Lot's of fun... I still have some old vids laying around I think.

All in all I spent too much time playing that game, but met good people and DAoC was there at the right time for me in the end. So thanks and good health to you DAoC!

Brogis proudest moment was when at the age of 24 (levels) he blocked a mob in dodens gruva that was orange to level 50s :-)

also I miss Sanitary and his girl.. Rosalyn?

Been a long time playing and still going.

Tried a few games that I hoped I would like, now I know that DAoC is the only one.

It does remind you of friends still here and friends gone.

But the war still goes on.  :D

Silly game too many memories :)

Some of the more fun, was hunting for stuff for a devil summon, if I remember right... (when I say fun I mean painfull :P)

The countless keep sieges was fun, and our fearless leader Sir Oneeyedjack giving orders not to forget Ardamel aswell.

leveling a savage the hard way is a whole new level of hardcore!

not using buffbots!

lots of love have to go out to all of you :)

Holy cows!! i almost forgot about toast and the GU comics...

well dame, savage without buffbot was almost as hardcore as leveling  a hunter without BB.... seriously i can t remember wich one was the most painfull. i think solo leveling my aug healer all the way was also some kind of painfull experiance :)
But all the pain goes off once you reach 50 and start to have fun outside on the frontieres... stealther groups, roaming group or cool duos/trios... that was worth all the pain in the wold ;)
