Title: Northern Sons Under Southern Skies
Post by: Muylae on 12 December, 2013, 02:08:03 AM

on january 10th i'm leaving on a 3 month trip to australia.  i'll be staying with a daoc excall albion person in australia.  it's a long story.  we'll be going to Bali, maybe also to New Zeeland.  my lap top can play daoc, not GW2.

my interest in GW2 dropped to an all time low.  i'm actually having more fun in daoc withe the Fellowship of Midgard than i'm having in GW2.  and i don't have a decent character in midgard.  i have good characters in albion, but i have no more friends there.  i don't know anyone in FoM personally, but they are nice to me (funny, really funny.  a healer says to me "yyy>finally i get to kill you !!!!  muy>yeah, you didn't heal me !.  yyy> but i got you killed !!!! muy>i'm the tank putting guard and body guard on you!!! yyy> i got you killed !  doesnt matter that i got killed the next second", what can you say :p ?) ancient enemies make good allies.  at least you know the people.  sometimes you get to know people better by fighting them than by fighting with them.

i'm actually having most fun on my RR2l1 friar soloing ...

i want a BB, so i can pawn with my necro and ice wiz.

Was that Awod? He's sinister like that!

Also, FoM and TDA merged in daoc sometime in the past. People like Erik are probably still playing both daoc and gw2 with us! :P

Midlife crisis, spot it a mile off, a look at the past and a wild burst to the future. You are a groovy geezer Muy, good luck and have fun.

Respect as ever

Valx

Sounds like an awesome trip coming up for you Muy, enjoy it as much as possible and I envy you a lot for doin this. Wish I could afford taking my whole family on a trip down under... Love that country and always wanted to go there, or move there even.  Sigh!!
