Please introduce yourself in this thread.
I'll start to make it a bit easier for new members to know in what lines to post:
I am Delay, a young Norwegian, living a bit south of Oslo. I started playing Dark Age of Camelot, and played it for about five years, until Dyvet population decreased, then took a ~18 month break, and started playing Age of Conan.
In TDA I am now a co-GM, together with Yulia / Oneeyedjack.

Hello. My name is Henrik, i am a 27 year old guy from Lysekil in Sweden, currently working as a sheet-metal worker. i started to play Daoc a couple of years ago in The Dark Disciples on Excalibur.. A year ago or so i started to play on Daoc US servers (mid) until AoC was released. Can write alot more but dont really want to make an book rightnow :)
i recently joined TDA from Management by fear, i currently play a Demologist named Zoolis.

My real name is Kjetil, I'm a norwegian guy that has ended up far, far away from my original home. (Moved from Oslo to Ålesund). I'm 26 years old and living with my gf. We have two cats and a dog.. :P
As Delay, I originate from DAoC. I played it waaaay too much (cough, farming ml9 dungeon alone with four chars divided on three comps).. and will take it alot easier in AoC :) .. I maintain this forum and I'm an officer in TDA.

Hey ho.
I'm Urme, started my "mmorpg" career in DAoC EU, played a Warrior in Fellowship of Midgard (and 7 alts), moved to WoW (Stormscale) played in Undecided and then NiX a Troll Rogue called Flurme (which was my skald alt on excalibur). Gave up on WoW in aug 2007, started to play some on DAoC US Classic, got a SM to 50 and RR5L5, but I had both WAR and AoC beta at that time so decided to stick to that.
Now I'm playing a HoX in AoC :) Came from Management by fear with the merge.
IRL I'm 28 years old, living in mid Sweden and working as a web developer full time.

Hi im Ian, I go by Isan in damned near everything online, so if u seen the name its most likely me.
I'm 20 years old, Sheffield born and bred (thats in england). On Games Software Development BSc course, and -as i write this- im waiting for my placement at Chemistry (a games developer) to begin.
I've played quite a number of MMOs, but the only ones i've payed a regular fee for (exclusing things like tibia) are: SWG, EQ2, and now AoC - also played anarchy and planetside but they were on long lasting free trials.
I joined TDA (by accident*) within the first week of AoC's launch :)
My main is Isan - a ToSser and i have a number of lvl 5 alts, but i've got no urge to leave Isan yet so they shall remain locked in Tortage for now.

Hello im Fredric from sweden i live in denmark now whit my girl. Im just under 30 and will never be older =) Right now im hung over so i dont know what to say but ill might do i t later.
Played tetris alot befor this and now im so happy the released Aoc to Amiga its awsome.

Hiya, my rl name is Tobbe a 34 years old male who lives in the most beautiful part of Sweden, Skellefteå. ;) I have played daoc eu/us in FoM and i have played all other mmos.. i usually goes under the nickname Shalrath.
Nowdays i only playing AoC and looking forward to play with you guys and gals. :)

My RL name is Berenger, i m 26, and i am the Frog of the guild :) living not too far from Paris i work in a chimical company in the logistics part of stuff. i ve been known as Hanza in TDA for the last 5 years or so, since i started to play DAoC on mid/exc and joined TDA by accident. i didnt stick to it by accident tho. i have been promoted to officer in the guild later on and now i have made the jump to AoC. i m one of the forum addict that enjoy spamming it all day long (from work :p )

My real name is Garsha, I'm 32 years old and live in Kenley (South East London). I have 2 kids and work for a cosmetics manufacturing company.
Used to play Adoctor or Karakal on Daoc. Every one calls me doc as a result :).
In AoC my main is a Dark Templar called Solvat. I have been in The Dark Alliance for a very long time (back in the days of Stormeyes and Axeman).

Living in portugal, 33 years old. was GM of dark age of midgard in mid exca where i played a awfull lot of alts (spetima, drsato nyxia simetry cynism copperhead etc...) until i joined with my sb (artemisia) TDA. Played a lot with Dub, Angrist, and a lot more of TDA's. When they moved to Limors i joined the green side of Daoc and then moved again with them to US and joined fom over there.
Oh and i'm a chemist, well i hope to be if i ever finish to write my thesis ;)

I am Spiritus, a "young" Norwegian of 27 summers. Now living near Fenderon in a town called Ålesund. Original form a island named Sula near Ålesund. Now just started playing AoC, after 3 years of mostly wow. I do also tend to fire up my Dungeon siege II or Diablo II when ever i get the mood. Else I'm just a general working man that don't mind free beers and loads of hugs.

Robert is the name and im from Lidköping in Sweden. I am 27 years old and at the moment i play daoc us and AoC. I am a officer of TDA. I begun my carreer with Anarchy online 7 or so years ago. Then moved to daoc. Both played alliance and horde in wow and alost some everquest 2. Then returned to daoc us. I work as a personal assistant and takes care of a paralized man.

Im Anton :) my real name is Antonis Kalpaktsis i live in the northern part of Greece (near borders with Turkey and Bulgary) in a small city called Orestiada . Im 20 years old and i have 4 bakery stores for a living :P. I also teaching Computer Network Security in a local school.
I dont have much time to play DAOC lately since i open my 3rd store on July and my 4rth at Octomber and i have my GF upon my head all the time :(

In the tradition of TDA on mid/excal and TWH on hib/pryd most know me. Playing on mid/classic USA in FoM with the rest of the guys.
And have started to mess around on AoC, Gostorn is a Guardian and Verindin is a Priest.
Those that don't know. Be afraid, be very afraid.
I tend to be the "token" British guy and I think most keep me around for that novelty factor. I am too old to care, but pleased to say not the real grandfather of the groups. Even though I am 40 next year (Note to self, put in order for supercar for midlife crisis) I am from Leicester in the UK, been here most of my life. (Just can not seem to get away)
Also being a true Brit I often drink and have the pleasure of being a true alchy of the groups. We invented "binge drinking" and still trying to export it to the rest of the world! As I say, 4 units a day is a target not a limit!

Currently I'm waiting to play AoC. I just finished high school and I'm most likely moving on to college/university next. Also managed to find a job during summer, in another city. Not sure about internet connection and stuff over there, hopefully will sort something out so I can play with you all.

Bought stocks in Funcom for 30.50 pr share last year, then they plummeted to 18 yay... Anyways, at ~48 now so its all good. Having read all conan magazines that have been printed (my father collects them), im of course gonna play AoC.
So after talking to Urme i thought id hit it here and see what happens.
Played Wow since release, ended up in undecided with Urme. Then he casualled out and i joined Nix where i got both legendary warglaives on my troll rogue. Nix disbanded and i sold the motherfucker:)
Apart from that im an avid forum whore and i like telling personal stuff and post my silly pictues. Sit at work all day and watch my gimps work and surf:)

hello, my rl name is Peter i'm 35 years old and lives in the most beautiful part of Sweden, Skellefteå.
Did play a shadowblade in FoM, most likley the only character in the world that never had a buffbot. Buffbots was one of the reasons i stopped playing that game and started with Star Wars Galaxies. Did get myself a jedi and started the slow grind, but then the development team decided to totaly destroy the game. After that i went to wow, was playing a druid in Undecided and the last year in NiX.
In AoC I'm playing a bear shaman named Jiriki, been using that name since i was playing Daoc. In rl I study to become a computer engineer, atm i'm poor and have a shitty computer so i'm playing very little.

My turn....
Real name is Shaun, but as all my chars tend to have Shan or Shani in them, it seems I have the nickname Shani now :)
And yes, I'm one of the old farts. 45 but still going strong, but I don't think I am the oldest ;) Married with 2 kids. 22 yo daughter who is a teacher ( BACK OFF you lot!!! ) and a 19 yo son who is at catering college.
During the day I am a Technical Consultant, working on the design and support of Cisco networks for a range of customers.
Live in Kent, in the UK, and still in the same town as I was born in!
Been playing PC games since the year dot, back in the days of tele-type and Basic. First MMO was SWG, which I got into after being recommended by a work colleague. When that got nerfed, we then went to DnL (BIG mistake) and then 3 years ago I found DAoC. Have also dabbled with TR and EVE, but kept coming back to DAoC. :) Have not found anything to beat DAoC yet, although AoC is looking good so far.
Will usually find me playing a melee char, but also like a bit of stealth. Look out for
Shanison (Guardian), Shanicon(Conqueror), Shanitem(DT) and Shanass (Assassin)
Those are the ones I am enjoying at the moment, but do have some others I'm still dabbling with

Hello! My name is Anki, im 41 years young and live in Hultsfred, Sweden. I live with my husband Dennis and 2 children, Saga and Liv + 2 cats. ATM I cant play as much as I used to do my daughters take up much of the time... :)
My MMorpg history begins with Diablo 2 then started to play DAoC 2002 (?) on Excalibur/mid and Prydwen/alb. Had alot of chars on 5 !!! accounts with my husband. Member of FoM, one of the founders of Gersimis Söner, AB Mord & Co and In Sect. Played DAoC/US with FoM. Also played Everquest 2 and I have a lifetime account in LotRO.
I play a Bear Shaman " Gersimi" thats really fun to play. :) I solo alot atm but I hope I can join guildgroups and play more with the guild in the future :) Dennis my husband play a char named Livmor (necromancer) on my account.

My name is Micael and im old, not that old but just below the best age in a mans life (according to some people). I currently live in Finland on a small island named The Aaland Islands (Åland) but are born in Sweden.
I have played daoc some years (from the release of SI) and had various chars devided amongs a few servers both in EU and US. I have played a few other MMORPGs namely WoW, EQ2, Tabula Rasa and a few others not worth mention. My goal is to stick with AoC until release of War and then decide what game to play full time, if any of them :).
I recently joined TDA, I say recently cause my daoc time in TDA was quite short before I deleted my chars and moved on. But now im dressed in TDA colors again in AoC and are having a good time. Remember that the one to blame for me being here in TDA are Hanza who were the one talking me into this :).

Hi , I am 36 years old. I played daoc for 4 years on excal alb (cleric , paladin, theurghist) in First Cohort guild. Together with my 36 year old wife (who is now also in TDA). She played friar and sorc. Also played 1 year classic in US as Mid Skald. 3 and a bit years of wow (1 year US and 2 years EU) And now AOC :)

heheh irl name Kim aka Kimbo on irc/Vent old fecker, do live on ze tiny island called åland, played jumpgate as first mmo then ao ,eve (didnt come out when daoc started:) and pirates of the burning sea prolly forgott many I played but the mmo I liked most was daoc. . Started in open beta and got hooked:(. Chars on mid was Bantag + Shef +alot of alts, guilds was Nazgul.Cutting Edge, Defiance + my home guild Lord Fouls Ravers, on alb I did play iguk and the loveable scout named igg+ alot of toons all in Terror-Inc. Here on aoc I play Sulla (pom),Terrorinc(necro) , Gaffel (ToS) and igli teh ranja. I could type more but yee all would get even more bored:) so this will do I hope.

Hi, RL is Daniel, I'm from Åland Islands in Finland. Started out with Jumpgate as the first mmo, and after that I fell into DAoC. Had a ugly kobold shaman named Zlyna. Since DAoC I have moved around to find the next big thing.
In RL I'm studying to be a Computer Engineer and is currently working as a Webdesigner on my summer break. I'm only 22 years old, so I feel a bit young in this horde of MEN. Hope to have a good time destroying my life together with you peeps.

Hi Irl name is Per, from northern Sweden. Played DAoC from release, got invited into FoM when i was about lvl 8 and killing ants and hillcats outside Mularn (by Leel if I remember right ^^)
Stopped playing around when ToA came out, didn't like it. Since then I've played EQ2, SWG and tried Lotro, Vanguard and some others but not really gotten into any of them. Atm I'm hoping AoC will be the next big one for me and I'm looking forward to finding out playing with you guys and gals in TDA.

The name is Magnus Åberg 34 years old from Sweden and i live in Farsta outside Stockholm. I'm one of the guys that was in management by fear but i never got the chance to play in the guild cause of some computer problem. But now i have a new one that can handle age of conan. Wow was my first MMORPG and i played mostly on the server stormreaver but i have some chars on other servers too. I was raiding alot before burning crusade and had everything on farm besides Naxxramas and a few bosses in AQ40. I decided to stop raiding in burning crusade and play the game more casual. Some of the guilds i was a part of were Veni Vedi Potavi,Untamed,Shattered Dreams,Naked. If anyone played on stormreaver you might have seen my Tauren warrior Bergtaur still dancing on the bankroof from time to time dressed up in full wrath swinging Quel'Serrar :)
You can always recognize my chars cause they all starts with Berg. And my chars in age of conan now is Bergatrix and Bergazrael.
I work at Tele2 with customer support.
When i'm not working i enjoy drinking beer,playing console games or pc games or just relaxing in front of the tv. And i try to exercise 2-3 times a week, but damn it's boring.
I'm not in the guild yet but i'll try to find someone that can invite me tomorrow. Good night all and cya in the game.

Hi all, my name is Johan im 27 years old living in a town kalled Kristiansund in Norway.
Im working in a consultant company that deliver grapical 3D models of sulppyships to the oil industry.
I have experience from other online games like EQ1 Tryed alithle bit in 2001 NVN rounded, tryed online for som time in 2003 WOW plyed since it got published, got a lvl 70 hunter WW2 online (that i still plays alot, I have reached the rank of "feldwebel" (senior sergant) in the german ermy). Now i tryed out AoC and i like it alot its some buggs here and tehre but they wil be fixed in time, WOW was also full of buggs and still after 3 years, it still get patched :)
I like 3Dmodelling so Im wokring abit in 3D studio MAX and have maked som pictures there.

Thought I'd post here:
I started on DAoC Excalibur back when the game went live with my Thane (Xandax Stormcaller) in a guild called Mealstrom which progressed into Prophets. Then I joined Killgorde in creating Cutting Edge, but various things went down from there and I deleted my Thane and created a Shadowblade (also called Xandax) which I played for a long period of time in various guilds. I then deleted my Shadowblade and created a Skald (also called Xandax (yes I'm weird)) and had then joined up with Fellowship of Midgard. I finally quit the game some time after ToA came out. I've played some DAoC Classic on the US clusters with FoM as well as a Warrior and Skald.
I've also played some EVE with some of the Cutting Edge people - but not terrible much, only some months of beta and 6 months of live in two attempts.
I've also played WoW as 2x Holy Priests (I said I was weird) on Dreanor in raid guild called Legion, later Incarnation (which also had some Excalibur people in it), but quit the game after 2½ years after the high end raiding needed more time then I was willing to give.
I've also played Tabula Rasa for a short-ish while (couple of months) with a guild called Pax Romana. Game was dull, so left it dead.
I've played a number of other MMOs outside the ones named above - mostly in beta.
Anyways about me in real life, then I'm a 31 year old dane. I work as a programmer (.net and databases) and I write a blog mainly about databases. I'm currently single and living alone, so got no responsibilities outside my job which I spend way to many hours on :D
Anyways - hi to all the people I know/remember and to all the new names :)

Later on i started a zerk called Berget , been around the fom dudes for quite some time and some fg rvr with tda after revolver split !
28 years old , and work as a salesman in stockholm , and can't wait to kick some ass in origin whatever realm we plan on going :)

Dont know where you got that statement. But they removed black guard, choppa, hamerer and knight of the blazing sun from the game, along with 4 capital cities.
If Mythic somehow made a 180 on this subjekt (without announcing it) it would be a bad move doing so and skipping a few months of testing they could have got if they just leaved it in.

Black Guard will not be available at release. Will probably be added in an expansion or free patch further down the road.

My Name is Lars. I Live in Århus (Denmark).
Ive started my online roleplaying "Career" with Ultima Online, where Ive played a wizard called Zolak. Then DAoC was released and I turned My full attention on the game and rolled a Healer called Freig. I became the Guildmaster of the Danish Guild "Nidhug". In the end, the task of being a guildmaster, became to big a task and started to effect my RL which really isnt a good Idea ;). Anyway, I closed "Nidhug" and was looking for a laidback, happy-go-easy guild to be in for the rest of my DAoC days.
Enough said, TDA is the guild for me.
I work as an IT Supporter, for a danish firm Called TDCWebmore. which mainly produce Hosting products.

my name is Ove... also knows as BIG ..37 year old , and lived all over Norway , but most of the time in Oslo , Meet Audhild ( sissel) ingame 4-5 years ago . and today we live togheter in Trondheim. I have 1 daughter. ( soon 14) I used to work as a Senior system Eng. but workmarked in Trondheim sucks for my area so now i drive a bus :)but havent given up getting a propper it job ...
Used to play Deltaforce and Unreal , then got bored of all then started to play Jottonia .. hehe there i meet Fenderon :) who tricked me into giving daoc a shoot , this was right after SI release.....
the first guild i joined there was " The Fallen Legion" but didnt stay there for verry long. spendt most of my 1.month free time leveling up a zerker .. with a guy from TDA .. Sparkfist , he was also the one who show me RVR .. o boy that was fun . after that i been a true daoc fan . and a TDA member
my most know chars on mid excal was , Bigsista then i started to play prydwen . a bainshee called Bigfun :)
after excal died i moved to the german cluster and played hib .. and bainshee there too .. and after that ended up on us classic with the rest of the active tda and fomsies

My name is Chris. I'm 45 and live in NW London. I sold my Publishing business a few years ago and now do voluntary work giving advice to people on stuff like benefits, noisy neighbours, debt and anything else they come and ask us. Eventually I will be unable to put off doing paid work but I can squeeze a couple more years out of my savings.
I played Daoc off and on since a couple of months after launch. Ive had several stints in EQ2 and WoW not to mention AOC and LOTRO. Ive tried various other games of which the best was probably EVE but got bored pretty fast with all that asteroid mining.
Hmm wonder if we will see Woogy turn up ?

Concerning DaoC I was actually in TDA but I dont have any bragging rights cus I only played it for a few months without any greater accomplishments. I moved on to EQ2 wich didnt really get me hooked. Then WoW came out and I was a junkie from day 1 and Ive been at it ever since.
Now with WAR I hope to see a great new game with some nice new features.

Lo all, I'm Leel, the healer from mid excal. I also got a ton of alts on all realms, banehand the runemaster that I also played a lot, blight the eldritch, mrbond the nightshade, blackmane the wizard and so on and so forth, a few hibs on the german servers and rm and healer on us classic. Played daoc euro since day one. I've also been playing wow a fair amount, for the third time now actually. I heard you lot were gonna start on warhammer, which I honestly hadn't given much thought, but seeing as so many oldies are gonna go as destruction (core server, was it?), I'm thinking I can't let that opportunity pass:-) Totally undecided on what class to play atm, but I had a look over them all on the official site. Hope to hear more on the subject from you guys, and hopefully see most of you there:-)

Hi all,
My name is Rune and I’m from Norway. I’m 33 years old and I have now a son (Marius) soon dinging lvl 2. I work as a Key Account Manager. Some of you might remember me from daoc as Runolas (SB) / Runoir (Healer). I founded FoM together with some irl friends in 2002. I had a blast in daoc from 2002 – 2004, then lost interest in the game in 2005 when more or less Excalibur and FoM died out. I really miss the time we ran 1-2fg FoM in OF.
Since most old time m8’s from FoM will join TDA instead of starting up FoM (TDA also being a better name for playing Destruction) I will hopefully be allowed to join TDA as well. I have recruited some of the other founders of FoM as well.
In WAR I will not make the mistake of rolling a SB with +10 INT at start. I have no idea why I did not scrap him (Runolas) at lvl 18 when I found out it wasn’t such a good idea. Anyhow, I think I’ll go for a Shaman, Zelot or DoK…a bit depending on what will be needed for future RvR (even though it might take some time for me to catch up). I will most likely play casual 2-3 times per week.
…btw I’ll be in Frankfurt 15-18 September, thus not able to join you from start. Could be that I can logg in with my laptop in the evening though.

Hello everyone,
I know that at least some of you remember Tront (the troll skald in FoM). ;) A short introduction for you that haven't met me before. I'm a 37 years old father with 3 kids. I've played different MMORPG's the last 8 years (and as often I've got the time to spare). The first game I played was of course daoc there I met the nice people in FoM, but through the years I've also played SWG, EQ2, Wow and some AoC.
Me, my wife and my brother in arms Ypen are planning to play WAR at release, and hopefully we're welcome into TDA. I'm really looking forward to meet old friends from FoM, and to make some new ones too. :)

Im Njalme / Wisl 's girlfriend and started playing WoW a couple of years ago in Undecided / NiX with Njalme, Tykk, Exog and Urme. We tried out AoC, but didn't really like it much.. So far War looks pretty awesome, and it will be a pleasure getting to know you all.
In everyday life I'm a student (Trying to be fulltime but I'm so damn lazy), and work 80% in a fashion store. Njalme and I have lived together for two years now. after I finish my bachelor in English, I'm starting a bachelor in Real-estating, so hopefully I will be finished studying in about 4 years.. No use in hurrying too much right? :P

im prolly the TDA member with the worst sense of direction. give me maps, radar (the small circular map in the corner, not the 3rd party software that say CHEATER) and a big arrow on the terrain that say GO HERE and i still get lost.
other than DAoC (Noin, Troll Skald, TDA), ive been trough
Guildwars (loads of chars) Eve (Vanvittig Dyr, Minmartar, Black Serpent Technologies,) AoC (Noin, Conquer, TDA) War ( year read sig)
It is awsome being in guild with a lot like you wouldent miss it for the world

Started my "mmorpg" career in DAoC, played a DoT Shammy named Tyrri in Fellowship of Midgard (8 Alts i think), have been playing TFC/CS/CSS tried some WoW (Stormscale) played in a big guild as well there i think i played some with Urme as well. had 3 70 but i thought the game was to hmm childish... Heya i'm Claes, also called kryssar , which is my regular nickname since a lot of years back
i'm not new to the MMO scene, began with SWG , then fell over to Lineage 2, grinded my hands bloody, got tired of that, then i fell over to WoW since the beta. Played WoW for a long time, took a break, tried some vanguard and various other games for short periods but they didn't quite have a nice feeling
and thus i fell over to WoW again
now when WAR was released and i tried it, i was rather careful with it , but it sucked me in and i just love everything about it , so i'm hoping it continues this way.
Other than bashing Order heads i work as a multi functional thingamajong, and at the same time i'm studying part time at a university, trying to get myself a network certificate (CCNA)
so as you see, my world is rather filled with computers, but i'm not complaining really. Been toying around with puters since i was a kid and haven't stopped yet and prolly wont stop ever if i get to decide.
hmm other than those aforementioned things i don't do much, teach kids to dive and try to cook various funky things.

Hey people.
My name's Per, but I mostly go by my nickname, Doxxan. Have been playing mmo's for several years, been burned several times, which made me very catious about War. However, War is one of few (very few) mmo's that's given me that warm, fuzzy feeling.
I've spent most of my time in War playing together with Inxane, real life friend. We begun on the rp-server Burlok, which worked great in the beginning. But as time went on, the rp faded, without getting really replaced by anything, leaving a complete and utter silence instead. Which meant that the chatty atmosphere here on eight peaks truly was a surprise. A very welcome surprise.
I work as Technical Programming Lead for Komptronik in Sweden, with clients including Ericsson. Most of my freetime is spent fiddling with computers, programming and playing games. Thanks to Inxane, I've developed a healthy interest in cooking.

I'm 35 year young Magnus from Sweden. Works for a grocery supply chain(dunno if thats the correct english expression) called ICA.
I played daoc, my first mmorpg, since beta on Prydwen with chars Fina/Toomb/Bjorg and some other. Had some shorter and longer breaks but kept coming back cause its a kick ass game! Autumn 2006 i rolled US servers and after playing around mostly solo i got an invite to FoM and since its a really nice guild with nice people with nice attitude i asked if i could join you here aswell and got an invite tonight. Cheers!
I also played WoW and AoC but never got hooked. So far WAR have been ok, im only lvl27 so far and have big faith in Mythic to make a game that can match daoc.
To that i can add that i live alone and have lots of time to play even tho i try to not spend too much time in front of the computer. I usually fail. I like sports of most sorts and have been an active football player and climber, the two big passions in my live so far. Still waiting for one more.. I have tried(almost) every sport there is except horse polo and icehockey, which is amazing cause i grew up in north of sweden where everyone plays hockey... Ok enough now.. Looking forward to seeing you ingame :)

Then I played WoW (Hakkar) where i was the founder and raid leader of one of the first three guild on the server (Enrage). I played Wow for about 3 year..

I would consider meself a strategy gamer, but for the last couple of years i've been playing WOW. Mostly as healer. But now its time for a change. I am now teh imba DPSZOR and i play just like all the dps i have spitted and cursed at for the last couple of years...and i dont even feel bad when i overextend and cause the healers all sorts of trouble :)
I have known Angrist/Dub/Buuh/Rhayn for 10 years or something.
Stuff you might wanna know before you invite me to a group (or a guild, but thats too late now):
I make weird noises when i play and this will sometimes spill into VT. I need orders when i play. Otherwise i have a tendency get caught up in the micromanagement of my toon. I talk and joke a lot. Most of my jokes are only funny to meself, but this will not stop me from sharing them with the rest of you guys. I dont like whining or personal BS. My class is gimped. Im friendly.
I will probably level my toons very slowly. WOW has sucked all my grinding energy out of me and i simply can't find the energy to do stuff that i dont find funny. I think the main reason i stopped playing wow is that i couldnt handle the prospect of having to level 11 toons from 70 to 80.

still remeber noin leading me on lvling croc rings for our skalds, damn he was so lost even a state of the world gps and red arrows could help him find his way back

Aloha!
I play Gont, 50 warrior, on Rift Firesands with some of the TDA bunch. Basically, they poached me as their meatshield for pvp and have been drivng me nuts since then. So, a little bit about me:
I'm 39 years old and I'm an academic working at University of Liverpool. I've played MMOs about 7 years and have tried a wide variety of games. consider myself a PvPer first, PvE second and arrrpee third. I guess you could say I am enjoying Rift, despite its many flaws. I doubt I shall play it for more than a further few months however, largely because Trion seem incapable of balancing anything. I genuinely wish I knew why they don't seem capable of fixing things, as I think the game has potential.
That being said, you never know; they might fix it yet with the coming of 1.3. If not, no worries. Other games are on the way and I look forwrd to trying them out with some of the friends I've made in TDA. Well, that's about it like.

uh oh, missed this post till today, guess I should introduce myself
I'm a Derek, a half English half Spanish from Barcelona aged 30 er, 36 year old living currently in London working as a graphic designer.
My mmo history is condensed in multiple years of GW1 and WoW, always preferred PvE and dungeon crawling, but since GW2 only (well mainly) focus in WvW.

Hey. My name is Normunds i am 17 years old and i am from Latvia - Riga. Something about me as a gamer - I have been a professional Counter-Strike:Source player but retired like 2 years ago becouse got bored of playing that game for like 10 years and achieved the top of my country. (Started at age of 5 lol). In the same time i have been playing League of Legends and still am playing for like 3-4 years i think now. As for MMo's i have played a little bit of Aion with friends, some tera, C9, very little of WoW private server and runescape. Runescape was the only one that i tried competitive as in - joining a great clan and doing wars with them. warring was very similar as GW2 where every1 follows leader, piles in etc,etc... but it was easier with less tactics thats for sure and less lagg becouse it wasnt that big of a game. Also i am looking forward into making some cash in following months to upgrade my pc so i wont lagg in big fights hopefully. Something about me as "me" - starting with september i will be on my last year of middle-school and in my free time i am doing professional pool in Latvia. Even tho i am not that good as for a national rating but for a self-made tournaments between just friends i can own easily and even made some money from it(That was spent on GW2 lol) :D

Yes it was a sad story , we had to file for bankrupcy , turned out that some of sake's more inventive financial plans was tied in with our guild stock in some sort of outrageous faustian derivative scheme , in then end we had nothing left exept the brand rights , we felt that the best option was to try to capitalize on it in a new market where our reputation did not precede us :-[
As allways we keep a spot for you in the guild assembly , but be warned that the conditions is not as resplendant as you knew them.
