While this closes one chapter for DAoC in Europe, a new one begins with a bright future of RvR ahead.
I dare say a lot of the chapters in the history books were very welcome to be closed. I suppose this was one of'em. Thanks for the info, though!
I have a feeling I might be reactivating once the transfer is complete - if not for anything else then at least to revisit TG and the frontiers, to see if there's any hope at all that I can get that feeling back. And to say hello to friends I haven't played for years (actually, I kinda miss my toons...)

transfer to new cluster ? or to ywain ? , guess we will have to wait and see :)

Crossing my fingers for transfer to ywain and hopefully the possibility to transfer only certain toons to the accounts i already have. Would be awsome to get my hibs from german cluster :)

I see cost and rent on housing has gone down .. as well as the two big ones have gotten extra vault space. I like
I wonder if my shadowblade is any good.. I have my doubts.
OH and important stuff:
- The final bosses of the Shrouded Isles epic dungeons of Caer Sidi, Tuscaran Glacier, and Galladoria have had their loot updated. These monsters are Apocalypse, Queen Kula, King Tuscar, and Olcasgean. In addition, the class specific chest pieces that drop in these dungeons have been updated as well.
- The necklaces that drop from Apocalypse, Queen Kula, and Olcasgean have been updated retroactively and no longer require players to be wearing the full set of armor from these dungeons to equip.

aye , tg chests are most expensive item in daoc these days , well that and ml 10 swords :)
sb skald warrior hunter ones seems to fetch highest prices , paid 160 p for my warrior vest on ywain , and sb one dont go for below 200 p , if you have old tg vest you can get it swapped to new model in aegirhamn.

and I might still have some SB Hauberks .. how easy is it to farm TG these days?

think mobs are unchanged , not to sure thou , tg is heavily camped on US servers , very rare to see a named :)

Wow, didn't realize I missed those toons this much...
I was getting sorta worked up to go hunting with my skald in Thid, but had a run around and found only mobs.

For the near term, your EU account(s) will be on their own server. We
will then allow character transfers from the Ywain server to the EU
servers. We do not currently have the functionality to allow character
transfers between accounts (e.g. moving the characters from a US
account to an EU account). I cannot sa...y for certain whether or not
we'll be able to support that in the future, but we will definitely
look in to it, at the very least.

Looks like they are only moving the servers to begin with, not moving chars to Ywain.
I'm still tempted to start playing again though, things might change if old Dyvet is in the toilet.. also gives some relaxing time to rebuild and get to know the game again. :)

Might still be possible down the run due to no one playing on what I guess will be the "euro cluster". Except maybe me, farming a bit in the hopes that I can later move to Ywain :P

Guess I wont move until I get the chance to merge. At least I have several healers on my current ywain account from the different servers before, so can move that over! :P

german server was rumoured to have decent pop , so doubt youll be alone , also possible to roll an alt on ywain as soon as mythic takes over goa accounts i reckon :)

I have a ~50 (thanks to Dub and a few others) healer on a trial account on what used to be Lamorak - what is the status of that server these days? Could I get a transfer to Ywain or something?

I'm hoping Mythic know a lot of people feel this way but perhaps a Facebook group is the way to go?
Not laughing is impossible to me =]
