Howdy.
Ever since WoW i fins myself liking playing healer classes. So been having a look at clerics for this game. Charbuilders are nice, been looking at them aswell, but to be honest, they dont tell the whole story.
Basicly im asking for advice what type of cleric to play, not only cause of pure ignorance, but also cause im not sure what playstyle i really wanna try. I loved my gobbo shammy in WAR, but I also liked the melee type healer.
So, any advice for a poor old soul? :)

well you can have both... :D you can make a evil nuker cleric with healing, a evil melee dps cleric with healing :P or a nuker cleric with melee dps! or a ... think you get the point :)
oh and you can have more specs at the same time just switching between them with a push of a button :)

I know, but kinda wondering wich "soul" to start with, or be my "main". Like Inquisitor (wich i think is range nuke) and Sentinel or something

Well, guess ill get a chance to try it out for a bit tomorrow, or the day after depending on download time for the beta.

Think im gonna give ward/sent/puri combo.

Dont know if its main healer quality, but atleast it looks like a really really nice backup healing spec.

heh lembit those are the three healing souls of the game, and proberly the worst dps build in game :P

Ive been trying to read up some on clerics as well. Im very interested in an Inquisitor (we will be trying a bombsquad).
From what I gather so far. You can freely respec your character. You even have four different setups that you can activate out of combat?
So you could have a cleric with four setups?
Say:
1. Dps Inquisitor setup.
2. Group healing setup.
3. Solo mix setup.
4. Melee healer setup.
And change on the situation and who you group with? That sounds really cool.
From what someone said on vent last night. You pick the first three subclasses at start, but you can unlock all others with 'simple' quests later on. Is that true? That would mean you are really only stuck to your base class and you only need four toons in the entire game, ever!!!

Yes Aere,
You can have 3passive specs and one active at all time and respec at anytime anf finially you can obtain all souls (classes) of your main class :)

That sounds really good. So you aren't tied to any choice you ever make, except base class!

basicly you make 4 chars and you are done .. game over - the end - la fin - de ende - slutningen - το τέλος - al final - 끝 (google translate ftw :P)

yeah, its really cool....after the initial 3 souls, all you have to do is a simple quest to un-lock another soul.
just pay for a re-spec and you can jump between souls.
