I've never really tried wow. So if a group wants to give it a go, I would join for a laugh.

played free servers with Doc and Lunie. It is ok but usually with its issues, such as lag, balance issues and dungoens/events/quests that don't work.

this one is ok at times and ther is no pay to win :) but at friday`s and sunday it can be lagy do to 10k players
It is also a Vanilla server AV Whas just relist last weak

What faction are people considering? I've always been Horde, so would be tempted by Alliance more likely. But that's just me .....

Have made an alliance rogue named Aluvio, alliance warrior Agrik (Gont was taken - wtf!?), Alliance mage Nemerle. Not played much so far - trying to get my head around the old macro system, which was quite unintuitive at the time. I'm also going to try the free WAR server too. Not sure which one I shall give time to as yet :P

It's a doddle mate. Eric is here, although he's already zooming towards 60. I'm here with one of the newer TDA chaps and 2 friends. No doubt more on the way when I get back to England and pass the word to a few friends. Honestly, it's superb. Old school AV that lasts up to a week, the old PvP system. World PvP is absolutely buzzing.

Okidoki. I'm back home, still holiday. So at least during the weeks a few hours to play different games. Now, I have never played wow past level 15. So what should I know, how should I set up everything (UI improvements? settings you don't want?).
And obviously the most important question, classes. What would fit my style? I wanna be able to be good in small groups/duo's and solo. Be able to pve efficiently (which usually is a problem for pure rogue types) and rock pvp by playing right (not by being simply OP).
Any sites to read up on this old version?

Dont know of any websites , but rogue will just do fine on everything you just said you would like to do :p
At least as much as i can remember , but tenzor probably know's more than me :D :P

it is hell if you just dont do Aoe grind grup :P
as am doing a palla and it is slooooooow but ther is soo many mages ther, and pala is good heals in pvp and am just mising 4 lev so aye can og Av lev 51 braket.
but then agen Diskprist holy pala mage/warlock or 2 mages and a arms warr fore Ms we can just ovne Av Midd :P and is all of them are Goblin eng thets a solid zergkillers

What times are people playing? Wanna start out right so I don't have to reroll etc. So could be handy to have some of you on TS when I roll stuff. Such a complete wow noob that digging through some forum posts just made it even worse. haha

Aloha. I'm on at odd times at the min, due to being on vacation. Am back next Thursday. Leveling to 11 is pretty self explanatory, follow the flow of noobs and you will be fine. Post your toon name. If I'm on, I'll log an alt and come run you through some quests. Here's a guide form 11 to 20.This is pretty decent and will get you across continents, which is really useful for later. It should take you a week or two at least to get to 20, unless all you do is play wow non stop. My toons are Aluvio, Nemerle, and Agrik. Also look out for Beil - he's newish TDA and a nice chap.
If you end up playing a rogue, I make leather stuff, so can sort you out some low be gear. Also have a tailor and can make linen bags I think. Linen is a bit ch to farm at low level though as the newbie zones are crammed.

I'm on at mornings and evenings at the moment , playing a warrior about lvl 14 now. You could go rogue or erik said its better to be ranged if you want dps . My name is same as usualy with a bit of a twist tho since it was stolen! those rats! ah and im on ts when im playing.

I wouldn't mind being either melee dps (thinking warrior atm) or a hybrid healer/ranged dps. What are my options then? Saw some stuff about shamans and shadow priests or something, that might be my thing? But it's all current wow mixed with old wow and so many different opinions that I cannot make out what it all means. haha

Rolled Nayna the priest. But got disconnected at lvl 2. Will try again in 30m. :)
Edit: Level 8 now. Guess I should get some crafts and the like. What is good for a NE Priest? :P Also joined the guild with beil. At least some people to chat with. And then, which addons should I get. Getting bored with trying to find all this quest stuff!
