It's a good game, no doubt. I play it on and off. It's not particularly group friendly, or rather it's really a solo game with some group elements (such as the daily dungeons and so on). It is plagued by loading screens though, which can get a bit infuriating. As PvE games go it is pretty decent and there's a lot to do (mostly by yourself, as mentioned).

I enjoyed it first, but for some reason I stopped playing. Iirc mostly because I missed guild action and (world) PvP ended in a desaster for me mostly.

As a single player game and if you can live with PUG's (where needed) it's good.

I bounce between ESO and the Secret World for a bit of late night pve downtime away from GW2. Updates for both of these titles are good, though pvp isn't, especially in TSW ( where the animation is a bit old and clunky).
Still small dungeoneering can be fun.
