I am still playing SWL (Secret World Legends), will be a while until I try something new.

I looked at it and i ve been considering it .... but then i start reading how the editor screwed up and abandonned the ship in russia after 3 month of exploitation... and that makes me think that the game aint quite what it promess...
Joric, u are in SWL ? i remember secret world and i loved it still going strong there ?

Well... SWL kinda is TSW v2 ;) combat is different and gfx but storyline is comparable.
I play this for the story and for a change. Didn't really touched PvP yet and the guild (Cabal) I am in... mjeh. I dislike their payment system but other than that I mostly enjoy it (even if I cheat at most of the riddles). Cutscenes are great, voiceacting is cool, some interesting NPC characters. Nice ;)
I really hate, that I didn't progress weapon-wise since lvl20 or so. You get better weapons by fusing and it starts with green, then comes blue and you can fuse higher than blue at (max) Level 50. Ridiculous. Getting tons of AP/SP which unlock skills and abilities, that I don't use. Frustrating.
But yeah, I am still in there, lvl40-something and slowly working through the story quests.
If you ask me if you should give it a try: depends if you want to go through (nearly) the same story again. If the answer ist yes: do it. It's free, you can really Keep up with gear on your own and the only Problem you'll face is: you are alone 99% of the time.

well since i have 3 character including one that used to be almost geared up i doubt they will force me into the whole thing again :D
but from what you are telling it looks like they have review the item model.... anyway we are stuck in neverwinter right now. nothing amazing but its entertaining and keep us busy :) i loved TSW for the questst and the story too... specially most of the stuff are really really hard to figure out unless u are very smart or have a lot of culture... i remember the riddle about jésus where u had to figure oput stuff in hebrew... was pretty cool but took delay and myself like half a day with Google translate and so on :D
quite a unique feeling for a MMo if you ask me :)

I dinged 50 in SWL a few days ago and just complete the Story line now. Aside from that I try to draw/paint more these days so I don't miss gaming that much.
