The idea of the "old DAoC" (the thing where it all started, I had my first toons, yadda yadda... going sentimental... /cry ... ahem) is tempting, but I am REALLY REALLY slow in leveling and doing stuff, getting gear and whatsover and think the few hours I could dedicate to Origins wouldn't be enough to really get a char to 50 and stuff... so I can imagine myself visiting all the old places, do some sightseeing tours through the frontier, but that's about it.
I really like(d) DAoC but this really holds me back here. The toon I RvRed most with was my first lvl50 ever, my Druid. All three other lvl50 (yes, I only got 4*lvl50 chars in about 5 years playing DAoC
) were rised to 50, but weren't really used (due to Dyvet dieing, ok, bad luck - but also Jorub, my Friar, didn't really RvRed).
What I fear is: I put a lot of effort and time (from my PoV) into leveling a toon and when it's ready to do something the guild will move to WAR anyway. I mean... it's nearly August... just some months. Nobody(!) will care about DAoC (Origins) when WAR hits the shelves. Trust me.
I *might* reach lvl80 with my AoC toon (not using alts in any way, only doing just one char) to have a glimpse on AoC-PvP (we still have to gather stuff etc. pp) but I am really not sure about that, too.
Sorry for the sad words, but can't help it, it's how I feel about it.
