I'm Thar, 34 years young male from Belgium. My first mmo i played was DAoC, my main char was a Thane called Arth on the Prydwen server. There i met Unorkeld. After DAoC i kinda had it with mmo's but started playing again with AoC (where i met Fene) for a short time and then started playing WAR.
I started playing Aion when my brother, Woldrax (also member of TDA in Aion) introduced it. (he still has some explaining to do to misses Thar  )

I play Gont, 50 warrior, on Rift Firesands with some of the TDA bunch. Basically, they poached me as their meatshield for pvp and have been drivng me nuts since then. So, a little bit about me:

I'm 39 years old and I'm an academic working at University of Liverpool. I've played MMOs about 7 years and have tried a wide variety of games.  consider myself a PvPer first, PvE second and arrrpee third. I guess you could say I am enjoying Rift, despite its many flaws. I doubt I shall play it for more than a further few months however, largely because Trion seem incapable of balancing anything. I genuinely wish I knew why they don't seem capable of fixing things, as I think the game has potential.

That being said, you never know; they might fix it yet with the coming of 1.3. If not, no worries. Other games are on the way and I look forwrd to trying them out with some of the friends I've made in TDA. Well, that's about it like.
