Damn I miss saying that saturday mornings


Was sitting around home tonight. Started reminisce over DAoC, brings up soooo many memories and emotions. So much joy and hundreds of hours of gametime spent with you all. When I think back I know I have had some wonderful moments in that game that never and I mean never can be found elsewhere. Brought a tear to my eye. I just miss you, and DAoC so much

Been thinking about trying it out again, don't have much time on my hands but if I could have my old chars I wouldnt need much time to still enjoy some gaming

Yes, the euro servers are now in Mythics hands as well and you can (have to actually) move any Dyvet character to the big new cluster Ywain! German cluster is still on its own atm, but at some point even that might merge into ywain creating one final big server!

There might even be 10 days free playtime on your account, not sure when/how we got that a few months back! Someone else can probably tell you here soon!

BS, been running with my SB and finding regularly a few soloers. Just avoid crowded areas to prevent been steamrolled by trios+++

Just don't expect honor or respect from others, and always be rdy to vanish

Nevertheless you can still have fun and enjoy the game.

Ofc not, unfortunatly   (i did mentionnated that on my post). But those grps only go for bridges and chokepoints, hardly find them in less crowded areas. Anyway what we really miss, both of us, is a good old TDA grp to kill some some and have fun

As long as you avoid the usual chokepoints and bridges you dont have to run into the big crews. But it can be fun fighting them. They really suck, thus they have to group, so in general I take down at least one of them before I die. And running as duo nightshades we ripped up team of 5 at times!

But yes, solo as it was at some point is hard to find. Respect is earned, not lost, so you will have some struggles at first. But after a week of /waving /bowing after someone won a fair fight they start leaving your fights alone. (some mind you, surely many still add on sight on anyone/anything!)
