TDA, Yew tree and all that jazz.
« on: 18 May, 2011, 02:44:26 AM »

So as many of you might have noticed Yew Tree Brigade has been disbanded as a reaction to me, Tenz and Feiten leaving for core.

Tenz and me had a chat today, we've been looking for options regarding a move, but getting into a guild that does end game content and dragging 12+ players with us just didn't seem possible. We actually spend quite a few evenings talking it through, talking to people we know from different guilds trying to find us all a suitable home but to no avail.

So we decided to join Core as they offered us a spot in their guild.

This was done fully aware that they might not take all of us, and that any of you ,who are now without guild, will have to go through the formal process of applying to join Core. however we didn't anticipate that Keller would kick you all and disolve the guild.
I can't garantee you will get accepted into their ranks, i will however put in a good word for any of you should you decide to apply.

TDA still exists so if any of you want to go rejoin have a chat with Tenz and he'll sort you out, i understand that there isn't much prospect  in joining a guild full of alts and inactive members but if any of you want a shot at running it feel free :)

It was indeed a very weird reaction to disband the guild with a few people leaving. Got an email saying they accepted me in core, so will join you guys there later today!  ;D Cheers for the looking around and getting us along!

beh... what the hell have you guys done ?? after a few weeks in YTB you leave and they disbanded ???

i dont wanna know but i guess it was one of tenz and fizz dirty trick again :D
Considering my level of activity at the moment i will probably not join another guild and get back to TDA. all my alts are still there and since you guys tend to make every guild you join disbanding after a short while, i d rather stay there untill i m more active :P

hopefully you guys will still be using our vent so we can still keep in touch there. i ll probably be online on thursday evening since GF is leaving :) not sure what i ll do tho :)

i m surprised, i thaught there was more people in YTB and that 3 melmbers more or less wouldn t make much differnce for the whole guild ... wierd anyway :s let s blame Fizz !!

YTB was dying even before we came along, members had no feeling of community and all just sticked with their own grps. The leader did not lead. So it has no real resemblance to a guild.

And yea totally Fizzle's fault!

@Style: http://thecore.guildlaunch.com/

About the YTB, I joined since you guys where in there. I really only played with you, solo or with a friend I met that isn't in the guild. It did seem rather dead, I did get help on runes and weapons when I asked in there though. So it wasn't a horrible place.

But lets hope the new guild is more active, so I can join T1 groups with others. That way I don't have to drag the T2 guys back into lower stuff! ;) It is ofc still a lot of fun when you guys come in a dungeon with me!

And thanks for all the help so far, both ingame and in joining the new guild!  8)

yea the YTB was dead, only guild feeling i got from that guild was from the TDAer's and Gont, Angela and Bob (Naihalailalialialaialaiaal). The rest was not there to help other people out or do anything that could benefit the guild. Me and gont forced some off them to come pvp with us when they where just pvping anyway but did not manage to do it on more than one occacion and thats about it of what i did with the guild.

and it never stroke you that it might have been linked to your poor performances instead of the frendlyness of the people ? :P
