FYI - i will likely be a little les active in GW2 for the moment. I am going through the "burnout" phase i think, and am no longer enjoying it as i was.

I will keep an eye on the forums, and you guys.

Bound to happen chaps. We've been playing (PvPing) the same maps and content for six months plus. There will probably be a bit of a resurgance when the WvW patch comes out, but I wouldn't expect that to keep people playing much longer. Ranks aren't a substitute for real conent in my opinion. If we had some new objectives and/or maps then maybe I'd not be suffering the burnout either. I for one totally understand Urgat needing some time off

I will almost certainly logging back in if this so called "rvr patch" ever turns up.

If I am totally honest though, unless they make smaller scale fighting more viable.., I am probably done with GW2. I know we do ok from time to time, but in the main, there are just too many game mechanics in GW2 the make "the Zerg" the most rewared way to play. And frankly, I hate it.

I hate loosing to skillless zerglings, when I KNOW for a fact I have a group of great players with me that is easily worth 3x their numbers, but are punished by crappy mechanics designed to let billy random Zerg his wsy through pvp.

Makes me mad.

I agree with you there! Really starting to miss the real healers and CC classes to balance out numbers!

Yeah the zergs suck, I sometimes don't feel like doing WvW at all these days. Yesterday we went out to WvW on mostly alts to help a guy get 42 events for his monthly by capping camps, sentries and dollies and it was actually a lot of fun. I'm not as annoyed when I get run over when we're on alts as you can't expect to win much on them anyway

Maybe switching servers to a much lower tier could help as apparently 20 is a zerg there. It's harder to find fights there though afaik so dunno if that would be much better.

I'm not sure that would be worth it, since as you point out, we don't know if that will actually give fights.

I'll be doing lowbie stuff when we don't have the numbers. But I would like something else as well!

I would say, let's just set one or two nights next week where we can be more than 5, hopefully 10+. So we can do our own thing at least for a day?

I been MIA lately too - partly to take a break, was getting frustrated with zerg fighting/culling and also because last week my wife gave birth to my second child, a baby boy - this last reason couldn't be avoided really

All is all I hope to gain energies and time in a couple of weeks, hopefully with the WvW patch - though starting to get an urge for PvE too.
