from what we have seen in the beta there is room for specific builds. support is definitely one of those. it works more or less so:
you have 3 main field(skills): Damage - Healing - Support (tech- healing - security)

in there, you have for each of it about 10 different skills. for each skills you then have talets and perks

 so its basically 3 trees giving you quite a bit of customisation possibilities take a look there:

Can't get past the opening screen atm, it's all black. Seems I'm not alone on the forum.
Buggy as fuck and also picked up some malware from someone saying they had a patch.

 there are no server to choose from.

 yesterday i ended up in a group of russians... that s the pain of random groups  but it seems to works like that:

 one global serverand then all non socials area are instanced

 post your uplay ID so we can add each other to friendslist etc...

I took the refund and will wait a bit as hype/criticism running neck and neck and I'm getting 0 support from tech team and have tried most forum insights.

Can't get past the opening screen atm, it's all black.

Opening screen being? I had trouble launching the game the first time yesterday, the screen went black and nothing happened. Got the same problem one other time later, and alt+enter fixed it because it will change between full-screen and window-mode and that forces a reset of graphics.

I was nice to see they had implemented a lot of the counter-frustration suggestions from the betas (getting out of cover being my personal favorite), but I was a bit surprised to see they had not fixed the bug where you're locked in place and can't move after using an emote (dodging fixes it).

Hanza was talking about a queue for activating your agent, but I didn't notice it at all -- maybe I was put on a less crowded server up here in the north and Hanza was put on a local, overcrowded server (think I noticed lag after joining his game).

Anyway, hoping to get some gaming time this weekend

edit: Oh, and should any of you have any problems, check reddit! I see there that the first item in the FAQ is the issue I was experiencing, with the same suggested resolution

well i went out of the safe house (non instance area) twice and then it was fixed....
