since we last talked i had a look ... and i must say i m a bit excited about it. i m probably gonna get my hands on it ... straight after i buy a new computer

You both know this already, but I'm in. Been waiting and hoping for so long, and judging from the beta I'm getting fairly close to what I was hoping for.

Ordered my new computer last week, so should be set for launch (except if that CPU really isn't supported by the motherboard after all).

Which faction? Not sure if the player will be able to side with factions in any way (other than staying with The Division); I kind-of suspect it to be somewhat like in the STALKER series where the factions are at war with eachother, and depending on the actions of the player, may become more/less friendly...

Alternately, maybe the player gets to change sides and become a Cleaner? Could be interesting.

New computer ordered.  with the GTX980 so i m not expecting any grafic card issue in the next 5 years i guess

 should be delivered tomorrow or friday. so i ll definatly be ready for the start of the Division. as i said we have global meeting at work next week and i ll be entertaining guests in the evening so i m still unsure about when will i be able to jump in but from what i ve seen in the beta it took feiten about what ? 2 hours of team play with us to catch up on our level ? so i m not too worried.

 otherwise i wantto underline that the game as a way more RPG aspect than what it looks like. its still a FPS but play style is drastically influenced by the caracter developpement choice you ll make and team work will be essential to overcome the obstacle.

Erik,  we haven textensively tried the "dark zone" AKA pvp zone but it looks like its one for all or all for one or whatever set up you want to have.

 we have witnessed with delay a group of guy teaming up to extract, and at the last minute one guy dcided to betray the group and shout them all down ... pretty cool, rulesless and i must admit the adrenaline peak was there as we ventured into this zone.... really lookig forward to play this game.

(Edit). Needed a new game. BDO looks like P2W. Bought the Gold edition. You guys better team with me or there will be trouble at the mill! Apart from that it looks pretty swish, I have no idea how things like guilds/clans work. Do they have those? How do you communicate with other players? No worries if you don't know, am just curious.

Haven't seen anything about guilds/clans yet, but I'm expecting there to be something along those lines in place.
Communication? In social areas¹ there's at least text chat (didn't try voice there); in the Dark Zone there's voice chat and probably text chat. There's party chat (voice and text) anywhere, but especially in Dark Zone it's important to remember that voice chat can be heard in proximity, so using the in-game voice chat for scheming against other nearby players isn't very clever

1) In the beta there was only one place: the "starter area" where you got your first quests and stuff

Got a replacement motherboard yesterday, so now my computer is upgraded to a serious numbercruncher and should be ready for release (provided the Xeon E3-1240 v5 is actually usable for gaming, heh)

Getting old and fps is last in my order of gaming, but this looks and feels so good. If there is a support build, I'm in.
