Hey all, just visited the forums and saw you were going to play Rift some of you.
Im going to play it aswell and im thinking of playing a Marksman/ranger/assassin combo, or champion/paragon/riftstalker combo.

i dont care what side i will end up on but i think i would prefer PvE server but i would go pvp if the majority goes pvp.

Hmm, might give this a try when open beta begins, but not sure. In a way i miss playing online games, but a huge part of me still cant be arsed playing a game you dont have "total control" when and how long you play.

well the game is out the 24th this month and the last beta is the 15th this month so you have to hurry ^^

Well, Im pretty sure ill try the open beta on tuesday. Who knows, maybe ill get hooked on mmo´s again

Im gonna try Rift in the open beta and headstart. Will join a group of friends from daoc US who wanna go pure pvp. See how that works out. I will also roll a fun duo with a friend of mine. He's quite interested in joining up with TDA I think. So which server are you guys gonna start on?

Im testing a bard atm, feels like a really strong (although a bit weird) class. Not the top dps, but you have a song that does dmg and heals. Its quite funny.

I will be playing with a mix of people from different games, you might know tapa or larutha.

So what classes are people liking (or disliking)? And why?

Ive been testing a bard. Its a great class, nice util, decent dps and decent heals. Dont expect superb hits, but it can work ace as a secondary healer that has songs and some decent enough dps.

 i might get my ass tempted to start t o play too... have been toying around with character builder and i think the most appealing to me would be  a main tank  paladin/warlord for group/raid utility

 or a cleric juticiar /shaman... depends also on groups etc ... still haven t really made up my mind if i dare to play another mmo or not
