I think it's being released in time for christmas in the USA, so proabably another 6 months for us.
They have sorted most of Hib's and Alb's weapons and the quests to get these weapons. Midgard's quests/weapons are apparently bugged so they're working on fixing them asap.

I just hope that the SB's champion weapons are going to be an essence dmg type rather than slash otherwise there's not going to be much point getting it unless it has some charge on it such as a 3000 radius pbaoe 473 delve lifetap usable every 30 secs. If not I'm not much interested

Some of the staffs look funky, the animist staff has a shroom on the end of it

Lets hope the stats are of the same quality of the looks (except ofc the skalds tuning fork).

Oh and btw does anyone know if these quests to get the weapons are soloable, or is it toa2-zergfest time?

TBH  all champions weapon got a nice style .. ( yes all ! even the skald hammer :p )

mincer got weapons but also instrument  (seen a harp somewher)

heared something about the quets .. dont think u need a zerg to get it but maybe small group (maybe two or three peeps + bot should be enough)

 anyway , all the chamipons thingy (weapon AND title (+ lvl)) will be given through PvE OR PvP even (defanding your realm is the formula mythic is using)

 so basically u go talk to the king, he said blablabla u want to obtain a champions title blabla ... and then ask if u want to do it pve (quest) or pvp (unknown yet :p)

so dont worry if u cba to zerg the hell out to get your cool weapon u will still be able to get it backstabing albs in PvP !!

Champion level characters will be able to sub-class to gain additional abilities and learn new skills from other classes. For example, a fighter can learn a mage's spell by sub-classing. This will allow a player to add a previously restricted healing ability, damage spell or weapon style to their character.

well well well ... here we go subclassing ? what do u guys think about it ? still not sure if i should get insta mezz/stun RM bolt speed or hammer style on the shamy ddue

From what I've heard, the sub-abilities will not include any CC spells, so root/stun/mezz wont be sub-specable.

that does not surprise me about the sub classing ... still can make a gimp caracter very OP imo (at last i ll be able to take the valk out of the cuboard )

Valk love in 1.79 ( i think, maybe 1.80). Alas it's only PVE valk love, but still a reason to dust off your valk especiall since you're gonna be loved when it comes to farming harder ml's (ML10 farm with 3 valk/thanes, 2 lightanks, ml9 sm, 2 healers and a shammy fop bot) like hib can do right now

right the changes braught on 1.79 are nice but still minor changes ..

 valk need BIG love imo but maybe i wont be ashame to bring it on TG runs anymore
